Federico Barbagli

Federico Barbagli received his Master of Computer Science from the
University of Bologna, Italy, in 1998, and his Ph.D. in Robotics from
Scuola Superiore S.Anna, Italy, in 2002. In 2001 and 2002, he was a
visiting researcher at the Stanford Robotics Lab. Between 2002 and
2004 he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Siena, Italy, and a
Post Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University. In 2004 Federico moved
back to the Bay Area full time. He joined Hansen Medical, a
medical robotics startup, as a Senior Haptics & Visualization
Engineer, while still collaborating with the Stanford Robotics Lab
as a Research Fellow. He's one of the founding members and
architects of the chai3d project.
